Women’s, “No Mail, Low Morale” Full-Zip Hoodie by Legacy League

Inspired by the prolific production of Tyler Perry, one cannot call themselves an artist and not be compelled to make an attempt at recreating the enchantment of that story through artistic expression. In 1945, during World War II, 855 women were flown to Birmingham, England to tackle the postal problems of wartime that no one else could manage. They were expected to fail, yet through perseverance, prevailed. This design is a celebration of their persistence, and a testament of what "against the odds," looks like. For the entire battalion was one of women, and to add to the irony, all black women. I felt it was only right that Legacy League be born through that significance of femininity, as we too, are all born the same way.
